I booked a hotel stay with a company that ripped me off for over $500 that Trivago hooked me up with. I'm VERY pissed at Trivago for not doing their due diligence with the booking companies they recommend!!

I made a booking for my wife's birthday and it was processing. The next day, I was informed of a technical issue, and it was cancelled.
However, I was offered a 50-pound voucher for my next booking. I booked again and inquired about my voucher at least five times but I did not receive any response from Algotels.

I booked a 6 night hotel stay between the end of 1 lease and the beginning of another. Trivago.com offered a queen room at $70 per night, great!
So myself, my daughter and her dog trudge across town only to find an Americinn by Wyndham being built.
No rooms to let. Can't contact trivago.com can't get my money back until the card company "verifies."

I did hotel reservation using Trivago site and I clicked a Marriot Hotel in Aguascalientes offer. I paid the reservation bito the hotel did not recognize the operation. It is fraud

El viernes 11 de agosto hice una reserva a través de Trivago para el sábado 12 y para salir el 13 de agosto a las 11 am. hice una reservacion en el ECONÓMICO REGISTRONE HOTEL POSADA & SUITES minorte virgennoun serach, 5819 norteamperioton Bvvd a las 7 de la noche subimos a la habitación 317, la cama sonaba como una bisagra oxidada (tengo videos), abro la cama, sábanas amarillentas, viejas, sucias y ensangrentadas (tengo fotos y videos) levanto la sábana y el colchon es sucio y sangriento (videos y fotos Hablé con la recepcionista le dije y le mostre los videos y nos cambiaran de habitación, no tienenian, que me devolvieran el dinero ,me dijo que hablara con la mager el domingo 13 Gerente, me da sábanas nuevas y los abro igual de sucios .
Dormimos en el auto incómodo con mi esposa. Hable con la Gerente, muestra fotos y videos de todo lo sucedido, ella solo se limitaa a decir que lo siento. solicitatar la vuelta de mi dinero 178.00 dólares más 6.00 dólares de impuestos prediales.
ÉL. Me limito a decirme que me queje a Trivago porque son ellos los que me han cargodo en mi tarjeta de credito estoy a la espera de que TRIVAGO sancione a este supuesto Hotel.Me reembosen a mi tarjeta de credito.

They kept trying to charge me another $600.00, and when I refused, they told me I would have to go on standby. After about 8 hours of back and forth and several calls, they refunded me.

I booked a hotel through your website and the next thing I know, it's through Algo hotels. Your website states free cancellations, which I canceled 4 months before the cancellation date.
Algo hotels said I have to pay $94.00 to cancel and get my money refunded, and if I don't pay that after the cancellation order was put in, I would lose all the money I paid for the hotel. I have never had to pay for a cancellation fee if it was done by the date of free cancellation. There is nothing on your or Algo's website about this cancellation fee. I thought I was booking through Trivago, but Algo hotels sent me a confirmation email that you cannot respond to, you have to call to cancel or modify your reservation!
They must do that to scam you to cancel your FREE CANCELLATION reservation. I really thought Trivago was a good company to book a hotel reservation, but I was wrong, there are no other companies that charge you for a free cancellation!
I have booked through many websites, never had a cancellation problem, until I went through your website and got Algo. What is your response about your cancellation policy?

Preferred solution: Refund for free cancellation fee of 94.00 that had to be paid to cancel. There is no where on your or algo hotels website mentioned this fee. What does fee cancellation mean to you!

No contact via email or phone. When trying to call them the phone goes dead, no English phone number totally disappointed
